Lamentablemente Edu se quedó afuera en las semifinales de Bogotá. En primer turno completó su partido y derrotó a Brian Dabul 6-3 7-6 , pero en el segundo turno le tocó un duelo muy complicado y el cansancio pesó mucho. Perdió ante el local Giraldo 6-3 4-6 6-1. Fue una buena semana para Edu. Ahora irá al challenger de Belo Horizonte donde consiguió una SE para poder jugar. El cuadro le deparó una accesible primera ronda ante el español Santiago Ventura , pero en caso de ganar se enfrentará al brasileño Marcos Daniel o al brasileño Ricardo Mello , quien ya lo derrotó la semana pasada en Quito.
Repasemos los resultados de Edu desde que empezó esta gira latinoamericana :
- Medellín : Campeón : 50 puntos para el ranking
- Quito : Segunda ronda : 5 puntos para el ranking
- Petrobras : Bogotá : Semifinal : 31 puntos para el ranking.
En total Edu suma 86 puntos en esta gira. Muy buenos números.
La semana que viene el blog estará cubriendo tanto a Edu como a Guille en su vuelta a los courts.

Luchoo. te ayudo un poquito con el blog.... eduardo esta en belo horizonte ( tiene un par de problemas abdominales ) pero fue igual. Esta semana tiene el mejor ranking de su carrera que es 158. Hoy juega en la cancha 1, tipo a las 16.30 hs (hora de aca, de argentina) contra el español santiago ventura, por la primera ronda.
